Stairs in Movies

First watched this in '92. And now I've watched it again. I doubt there will be a third time. It still strikes me as a crude and manipulative film, though it's interesting as part of Gibson's impressive body of work in revenge porn.

Speaking of, has Gibson ever acted all the way through a film? He has this annoying tendency to show promise, and then to renege on it by reverting to overemoting, "akking," and silly pauses where he seems to be thinking about nothing more than what the character is supposed to do next.
